Could you make a differnece in a child's life?

We are proud to be Outstanding

Welcome to Trust Fostering

Trust Fostering is delivered by Doncaster Children’s Services Trust, a not-for-profit organisation set up to deliver social care and support services to children, young people and families.

We are passionate about improving children’s lives and making fostering fun.

We know fostering can be very challenging. That’s why when you foster with us you won’t be fostering alone. You’ll be a part of a big fostering family made up of experienced foster carers and social workers who all want our young people to lead happy, safe and active childhoods that allow them to go on and achieve their dreams as adults.

Fostering News

Comedy, choreography and Car Pool Karaoke were just some of the ingredients for the annual X-Mas Factor spectacular this week.

The evening is a fantastic opportunity for our children to showcase their amazing talents – which this year even included a signed performance of This is Me from the musical The Greatest Showman and a clapping version of A Sailor Went to Sea.

Trust Fostering is inviting people who are thinking about fostering to come along to an information event at the Dome.

Members of the Trust Fostering team and foster carers will be hosting an event on Thursday 29 November, between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.

The drop-in event at Doncaster Dome is a great way to learn more about the fostering process before making any decision.

Current foster carers and social workers will be among those on hand to explain the fostering process and about providing a loving and stable home for the children who need foster placements.

Stuart and Janet Roberts

Foster carer Janet Roberts and her husband Stuart have opened their home to more than 100 children and teenagers over the past 40 years.

Debra Harris

When Debbie Harris’ children flew the nest, she decided she had the space, time and love available to help one of Doncaster’s children who couldn’t live at home.

Young people with experiences of care are making their mark on the social care scene after seeing their ideas turned into reality.

With the core belief that the child’s voice has to be at the centre of everything being embraced by all staff, the Chief Executive of Doncaster Children’s Services Trust, Paul Moffat, recruited a team of Young Advisors in 2015 to help shape services for children and young people in a way that has never happened before.

Becci collecting her Outstanding Achievement Award at The Fostering Network Awards

A pioneering teenager has been awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award at The Fostering Network's annual Fostering Excellence Awards.

Becci Coole, 20, is a care leaver with particular promise and potential, who has overcome many challenges that people her age would rarely face.

Despite these challenges, Becci took on the role of a Chief Executive Young Advisor with the Doncaster Children’s Services Trust as well as a modern apprentice position at just 16.

“We love seeing their characters open up while in our care.”
